New year new blog

After six or more months in the wilderness I've finally managed to start a blog for may students on Otago polytechnics first and second year cookery. At present it's an additional information page, with any useful videos, websites and photos I can find. Hopefully I'll get some responses from the students.

This is my first attempt at using audacity and its associated programmes. I do wax on a bit, if I do say so myself.

This is collection of photo's taken at the cook off for selection for our Toque D'Or team. I've added comments to each of the dishes presented, but the students found them hard to view. So I need to continue to work on that. With is programme you can also add up to 30 seconds of audio. I will be using this system again, particularly for assessment feedback to the students as at present the majority of the feedback is verbal.
